Denver Union Station

Environmental Impact Statement

The Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) is planning to redevelop Denver Union Station (DUS) into a multimodal passenger station. RTD has applied for a RRIF loan to fund the DUS passenger rail facility. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) prepared an environmental impact statement for the DUS project. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement for this project was published in March, 2006, and public hearings were held in April, 2006. FRA has adopted the EIS and issued a separate record of decision on March 31, 2010. The entire EIS is available here.
