NOTICE

The FRA Administrator’s Declaration of
Emergency Event

Pursuant to Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) § 211.45, the Federal Railroad Administration’s (FRA) Administrator, Joseph Szabo, has determined that as of October 30, 2009, a severe snow storm is affecting all forms of transportation in Western Nebraska and Southeastern Wyoming of the United States constituting an “emergency event” as related to railroad operations. Therefore, the Administrator has activated the Emergency Relief Docket (FRA-2009-0009) as of October 30, 2009, and the emergency relief provisions of 49 CFR Section 211.45 are in effect.
