The Northeast Corridor Transportation Project, through a comprehensive systems analysis approach, is engaged in analyzing and evaluation the transportation needs of the Northeast Corridor through 1980. This report presents some conclusions about the prospects of intercity passenger transportation in the Corridor and suggests ways in which transportation developments can be made more responsive to the Corridor's needs.
