Overview

The Post-Accident Testing (PATT) mobile application is developed by the Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). The primary purpose of the PATT application is to aid railroads and their contractors in determining when a qualifying accident has occurred that requires Part 219 Subpart C testing.

Application Security

This mobile application does not collect any information about the user or their device. The app was developed using best practices for securely utilizing the Android Software Development Kit (SDK).  No API is used, and no third-party services are allowed direct access to the user’s device. By default, Android and iOS apps are sandboxed and cannot access other apps or share data between apps installed on the mobile device. 

How to Access or Correct your Information

The PATT mobile application does not collect any information about the user or their device. The DOT FRA provides transparency about the collection, utilization, and retention of user data through this Privacy Policy. Users may request more information regarding this Mobile App by contacting the DOT Privacy Office via email privacy@dot.gov.
