ABSTRACT: Chairman Collins, Ranking Member Reed, and Members of the Subcommittee: Thank you for the opportunity to testify today to discuss rail safety. I come to my position as Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) with 45 years of experience in the railroad industry, rising to become the President and Chief Operating Officer of a significant freight rail carrier in the United States.
